License Plate Recognition
Automatically detects, reads, and logs vehicle license plates in real time.
Corvid is our specialized open cloud VMS & LPR platform focused on smart surveillance and automation.
Corvid's Vendor-Agnostic Intelligent Gateway Application installs at the edge on the camera, from a wide variety of camera manufacturers, connecting them directly to the Corvid cloud.
Automatically detects, reads, and logs vehicle license plates in real time.
Uses AI and machine learning to analyze video feeds for actionable insights, security monitoring, and data collection.
A lightweight agent runs on the camera itself and connects it securely to the Corvid cloud. No VPN, no port forwarding.
The Cloud Gateway is a lightweight agent that runs on the camera itself, packaged for each manufacturer.
The agent opens a secure outbound connection to the Corvid cloud. Nothing needs to be exposed on the customer network.
LPR and video analytics run cloud-side alongside edge-processed analytics, and the stream is available in the Corvid VMS.
On the camera itself, on hardware you already own, or alongside whatever else you are running. Whatever the site looks like, there is a way in — including cameras with no on-camera app at all.
Packaged as an application that installs directly on the camera, using each manufacturer’s SDK. Nothing else to run on site.
Axis (ACAP), Hanwha (Wisenet Open Platform) and i-PRO. Configured from the app’s built-in web page.
A Debian package installs the gateway as a systemd service on any Linux box on the network — a small industrial PC is enough to bring a whole camera fleet online.
amd64, arm64 and armv7.
A multi-architecture image runs the gateway anywhere you already run containers, which keeps it out of the way of whatever else lives on the host.
linux/amd64, linux/arm64 and linux/arm/v7.
An official add-on turns an existing Home Assistant box into a gateway: it auto-discovers RTSP/ONVIF cameras on the LAN and bridges them to Corvid Cloud.
Home Assistant OS or Supervised, on amd64, aarch64 and armv7 — a Raspberry Pi, mini-PC or NAS is enough.
Any other brand still works: point the gateway at its RTSP or ONVIF stream from a Linux host, a container or Home Assistant. Validating a new manufacturer's on-camera package is something we do on request —tell us what you run.
